Classification of filter material for screen changer
There are three main types of filter material for screen changer: metal mesh, metal fiber felt and sintered metal. The filter material of screen changer is different in material selection, and the filter working conditions are also different. The advantages and disadvantages of each filter material are described in detail below.
For the screen changer filter material selection of metal mesh, it is woven by fine wire, square mesh and mat mesh, etc., it has small flow resistance, can be used in a high temperature range, mainly for the system of coarse filtration, it belongs to surface filtration, can be repeatedly cleaned and used, its mechanical properties are lower than metal fiber felt, its life is relatively short but its price is relatively low.
The filter material of the screen changer is metal fiber felt, which is made of metal fiber. It has a labyrinth three-dimensional structure. It has low porosity, low flow resistance, strong pollution absorption ability, long service life, and can be used in a large temperature range with high precision. Because of its high cost, it can be cleaned and reused only when filtering special media or requiring high temperature.
For the sintered metal mesh used in the filter material of screen changer, it is a new type of filter material with high mechanical strength and overall rigid structure, which is made of multi-layer metal braided silk mesh by special filling layer pressing and vacuum sintering process. The mesh holes of each layer of wire mesh interlace with each other to form a uniform and ideal filtering structure, which not only overcomes the shortcomings of low strength, poor rigidity and unstable mesh shape of ordinary metal wire mesh, but also matches and designs the pore size, permeability and strength characteristics of material reasonably, so that it has excellent filtering accuracy, filtering impedance, mechanical strength and resistance. The comprehensive properties of grindability, heat resistance and processability are obviously superior to other types of filter materials such as sintered metal powder, ceramics, metal mesh and so on.
